well i don't think the raw box will be done tonite... but it will atleast be started... gotta go get my alarm fixed after work, i forgot about that

sooo... we got an issue... driving to go get the alarm fixed i cranked up the stereo, it had no problem at lower volumes but once the the input/output voltage reached a certain level the power just kinda drops off. i thought it was the subs but i'm not sure. the only thing i can think of now is the amp i have no clue what could have caused this... anyone got a way to check it? i'm gonna pull the subs out tomarow and check them out and see if the coils are still good.

Driving her too low?

nope, looks like the cooling fan stopped working and the way it was mounted it musta over heated, the voltage never dropped lower then 11 volts, all the fuses are good... i dunno what the fuck it is, it just doesn't put out the power at higher levels

lanzar opti 2k, i think i blew out a few fets somehow, but i dunno. matt said he'll lend me an amp for the show but i'm pretty well screwed for testing in advance, lol

That's cool, at least you will still be able to compete. I bring the van in at 10:30. Hopefully, I don't have to use my debit card to pay this bill. If so, there will be no KJohn show for me.

well i decided against goin to kjohn, i'm just gonna start building everything, get it all ready for a new amp whenever i get it. so i should have some updates on the build starteding this weekend

well i got my garage cleaned up enogh that i can cut some wood and get the build goin tomarow

well i got a small update, cleaned up the back end some more

no more jack support

got the floor cut up and screwed down. damn raised section around the filler tube... its totaly fucking pointless, i'll get that all filled in ounce the sides and back wall is up

and got my side windows covered up


fucking lowes only had white 1/8" hardboard... pricks

lol nope, doin the back wall tomarow, no 2x4s yet, i measure the hieght and its gonna be tight at the front, the is a roof support where the front baffles are goin, lol
tomarow is goin to be interesting, i still gotta cut the headliner back tho, its just hanging there

so another update, back wall is goin together pretty nicely






the back wall is in, alittle sketchy looking but its there those 2x4s up the back might be temp... might not be not tooo sure yet. hopefully i can get my sides started ether later today or tomarow
